Teacher Training

INTRODUCTORY

For Introductory Level teacher training, please contact a Teacher Trainer (you can find a Teacher Trainer using the search facility on the home page). You need to have been practicing and attending Iyengar Yoga classes for a minimum of three years before attending the teacher training course. Introductory Level 1 assessments are held regionally in June/July. Introductory Level 2 assessments are held at Sarva Iyengar Yoga Institute, High Wycombe, Bucks in October.

Introductory Level Syllabus

INTERMEDIATE JUNIOR

Intermediate Junior Level 1, 2 and 3 assessments are held in March at Manchester and District Institute of Iyengar Yoga. For a copy of an application form please contact Jess Wallwork jess@iyengaryoga.org.uk from July for assessment the following March; the deadline for applications is the end of September.

INTERMEDIATE  SENIOR

Intermediate Senior Level 1, 2 and 3 assessments are held in November at different venues including, The Iyengar Yoga Institute of Birmingham, The Institute of Iyengar Yoga Maida Vale, Manchester and District Institute of Iyengar Yoga and Sarva Iyengar Yoga Institute. For a copy of the syllabus and an application form, please contact Penny Chaplin pennyyoga@btopenworld.com. The deadline for applications is the 1st May. The assessment fee must be received by 1st August.
