Archives
The Archives Committee works to support the general aim of Iyengar Yoga (UK): to foster and preserve the legacy of Iyengar yoga
What does the Archives Committee do?
As well as recording, storing and managing the organisation’s data, we:
- Collect, record and catalogue any information about B.K.S. Iyengar, Geeta S. Iyengar and Prashant Iyengar and RIMYI
- Offer assistance in projects to preserve and conserve archival material relating to Iyengar yoga in the UK and at RIMYI
- Work to provide a suitable environment to preserve documents and photographs relating to the history of Iyengar yoga
