Class Description:
This will be a gently paced class for mature students to help keep the joints open, the muscles stretched and the spine long. The class will focus on bringing about physical and mental awareness to the body. Modifications and variations of classical yoga postures are explored using props and supports to bring the poses to the student rather than the other way round. Breathing techniques (Pranayama) will be introduced, this helps to keep the mind clear and focused and is proven to enhance overall physical and mental health.
