Iyengar yoga focuses on precision and alignment of the body in the postures, using yoga equipment such as blocks, bricks and belts to help lengthen and open the body.
In this welcoming class the teacher actively assists the students by explaining the positions and correcting misalignments. Props will be use used to explore postures and cater to students needs.
This class is suitable if you are new to yoga, out of practice or wish to develop a firm foundation in Iyengar yoga.
