Join Claire for a posture and breath focused class suitable for all. Build strength and flexibility with careful attention…and fun!

Who is this for?

Many people who attend this class are retired, given the time of day, but it’s also for stay-at-home parents with some time after the children have gone to school, as well as freelancers, self-employed, shift workers or students who also value a mid-morning class. Not to worry if you’ve a dodgy knee, replacement hip or stiff back – we can work around that.

You do need to be able to come upstairs (we’ve no lift) and get up and down from the floor – if not then try chair yoga with Claire instead.

We practice yoga with the Iyengar method, with attention to posture and alignment, not only of limbs but of your mind and breath with the poses. We use props, such as blocks, bolsters or wall ropes, to help you feel into and understand the actions more deeply.

We have 10-class and 6-class passes – these are great value if you’re coming weekly or more often. Drop-in also available. You need to buy your passes and register for class on the student portal. Contact Claire by email or phone 07743 841415 if you’ve any questions about the classes.
