Iyengar yoga (ongoing yoga) with Claire

Class Description:

Looking for a deeper yoga practice now you’ve been practising a while?

This is for those who have been practising for at least a year, includes those who also teach yoga or are training to do so, who are ready for more of a physical challenge and who realise that in the end yoga is not just about the shapes you make but how you do them.

Claire is an experienced Iyengar yoga teacher and brings her ongoing practise and knowledge to sequenced classes helping you explore your range of movement, strength and mobility, while also finding space and joy within. You will learn ways of using yoga props to support or guide the body and breath, at the same time remembering the body is always the first prop. Pranayama practices are included every month. Inversions are done in some form every class and we learn and practice shoulderstand, headstand, elbow balance and handstand.

We have 10-class and 6-class passes – these are great value if you’re coming weekly or more often. Drop-in also available. You need to buy your passes and register for class on the student portal. Contact Claire by email or phone 07743 841415 if you’ve any questions about the classes.
