Confident Mentoring Workshop Essex (IYCE)

Event Description:

For this workshop, there is ample parking at the rear of the Hall. Pedestrian access is via the front of the building. Nearest mainline stations are Ingatestone, Chelmsford and Shenfield. Ingatestone being the most convenient. The host can arrange to pick people up from Ingatestone if necessary, as there is little public transport.

The MASG (Mentor and Assessor Support Group) have created Confident Mentoring workshops.

These are for:

• mentors
• trainees
• teachers wishing to progress to the next level (mentees)
• teachers thinking about becoming a mentor
• teachers who would like to know more about mentoring (there’s no obligation to become a mentor!)

The workshop will:

• build confidence
• answer common queries
• give an overview of mentoring
• help build community
• count as 5 hours of CPD for teachers
