Using Ropes & Props Workshop
Using yoga ropes to help open, support and extend the body was a key innovation by our teacher BKS Iyengar. He saw how poses could be achieved with greater ease and freedom, for example hanging upside down for Rope Sirsasana (head stand) or opening stiff shoulders in Rope One.
We also have at the Centre some of the wooden props developed in Pune, for example the back archers (Dwi Pada Viparita benches).
Would you like the chance to explore these under expert guidance?
Few people have yoga ropes and props at home, so come and use ours!
