Kyoko Atsumi

Bio:

Kyoko started practising Iyengar yoga in Tokyo in 1991. She was taught by B.K.S. Iyengar in 1992 when he came to Tokyo.  After moving to Scotland in 1993 she has been practising at Edinburgh Iyengar Yoga Centre where she was trained by Elaine Pidgeon and Meg Laing. Kyoko qualified as an Introductory Iyengar yoga teacher in 1996 and as Junior Intermediate I teacher in 2012. She is now a Level 2 teacher and has students in both Scotland and Japan.
