Lindsay Barchan

Bio:

I've been practising yoga for over 20 years. I've been to India four times to study with Senior Iyengar Yoga teachers and the Iyengar Family in Pune. After my visit to Pune in 2016, I decided to train as a teacher after witnessing the releasing effects of yoga in the local Indian medical classes. I pursued teacher training and became qualified to teach in 2018 after 2 years of training in London, with senior Iyengar yoga teacher Alaric Newcombe. I now reside in East Sussex, where I continue my development with my mentor Simon Edwardson in Hove. I am currently working towards my Level 2 teachers assessment, and also continue my ongoing development with Prashant and the Iyengar family from RIMYI in Pune, India. I teach two classes a week, General level & Intermediate, in-person at the beautiful Lewes Subud Centre in Lewes, East Sussex.
