Marios Argiros

Bio:

Marios Argiros is a Senior Intermediate Level 3 Iyengar Teacher. He trained at Manchester and District Iyengar Yoga Institute and makes regular visits to India to study with the Iyengar family at the Ramamani Memorial Institute in Pune. He has also been inspired by the teaching of Jeanne Maslen, Jawahar Bangera and Firooza Ali among others. He is now based in Hertfordshire and teaches classes locally, and frequently gives workshops in the UK and Europe. He mentors students to become Iyengar teachers, and also offers yoga therapy sessions. In 2005 he began teaching yoga courses in Crete and now spends several months in Greece each summer studying and teaching yoga. Yoga was instrumental in his recovery from a serious car accident a few years ago and Marios feels very fortunate to have worked individually with Guruji in the medical classes in Pune.
