Charlotte Jackson

Bio:

Charlie is founder of the ‘Light on Yoga Somerset’ Iyengar Yoga studio in Castle Cary.

She is a devoted student of yoga and has been teaching for 10 years and practising since her early 20s. She has an interest in yoga philosophy and Vedanta and has studied Sanskrit with eminent teachers in the UK and India, which she weaves into classes.
Charlie sees yoga as a steadying influence that guides her back to calm waters during the challenges of life, she can’t imagine life without it.
She travels to India annually to study with her teachers, Usha Devi and the Iyengar family at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune.
