Harshini Wikramanayake

Bio:

Harshini has been practicing Iyengar Yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2006; she has sat more than five rigorous assessments to achieve her Level 3 certification. Harshini is a mentor and assessor for the UK Iyengar Association. She has attended workshops at the Iyengar headquarters in Puna, India on five separate month-long visits, where she was taught by BKS Iyengar, his daughter, son and granddaughter.

Harshini’s experience of Iyengar Yoga inspired her to transform her life – ultimately leaving the corporate world to train to be an Iyengar Yoga Teacher as well as returning to university to study Ayurvedic Medicine. Harshini has since earned First-class Honours BSc and MSc degrees in Ayurvedic Medicine, complementing her Master’s and Honour’s Business Administration degrees.  More recently, Harshini has been studying Functional Medicine, completing AFMCP – UK in 2017 and APM – Hormones
