Bio:

I have been teaching since 1985. Main teacher was Silvia Prescott., who used to come to Salisbury and lead a group of us to junior intermediate levels 1 to 3.
Through the last forty years I have attended many conventions and workshops, always learning more and more about the vast subject of yoga.
Up till 2020 (covid lock down) I taught classes in Dorchester, Wool and around. But now only two classes a week, both on line.
So teaching much less than before but still as keen as ever.
Interested in keeping the more senior students healthy and mobile. So a typical class would start with gentle ’warm up’ before attempting any more demanding work. I have found that this approach keeps injuries at bay and is a safe way to practice , particularly on line, as it is harder to see and correct the students.
I feel very lucky to have found Iyengar yoga and it has been a great part of my life since about 1975 Not only has yoga kept me fairly fit, it has also given me many good friends.
