Camping pitches

Camping pitches will be located close to the main school building (see picture) and there will be 24-hour access to indoor toilets & sinks (approximately 150m away). 

There will also be access to showers in the main gym block.  Depending on numbers extra toilets and showers may be provided. 

There will be 24 hr access to drinking water and access to electric sockets for phone charging.

Parking

There is free parking on site next to campsite.

Tents, tent hire, camper vans, caravans

Please note that your booking is for a camping pitch – you will need to bring your own tent.  Tents can be hired from a local company – details here:  https://tent2hire.co.uk/tent-hire/ 

Camping pitches are non-electric – camper vans and caravans are also welcome – these are also non-electric.

Food

Breakfast and supper are included for all campers at Yogapushpanjali with the intention of making your camping experience as easy as possible.  Food is vegetarian and tasty and sitting down and eating together is a great way to get to know the other campers! 

If you’re just coming for the weekend, meals included are supper on Friday and Saturday, and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Fires

Fires are permitted at the camping pitches but must be in a raised fire bowl.  All campers should bring a single use mini fire extinguisher with them.  Please bear in mind that the camp is on the edge of the Ashdown Forest and it will be summer time so precautions against forest fires must be taken.  Firewood for use in fire bowls can be purchased from the venue.  

Dogs

We are sorry but dogs are not permitted at the venue, other than guide or assistance dogs.

Alternative Accommodation

If you prefer not to camp, there are hotels nearby in Forest Row (around 10-15 minute walk) or a short drive away in nearby East Grinstead and Haywards Heath.
