Simon Welsh

Bio:

I am a level one teacher who began Iyengar Yoga in 1988 and qualified as a teacher in 2003.

I initially took up yoga to support meditation practice – I couldn’t settle in seated meditation but found that the focus of Iyengar Yoga asanas was ideal for stilling my mind. It’s been a balance to cardio and strength training such as cycling, climbing, kayaking and martial arts, and a peaceful space in a busy work and family life.

I strive to make my teaching inclusive of all abilities whilst challenging more experienced students.
