Iyengar yoga class – beginners (more experienced students welcome too)
Class Description:
Iyengar yoga offers great physical exercise improving strength, flexibility, balance and endurance as well as wonderfully benefiting your mental and emotional health. Yoga is for everyone, every shape and type of body, and you don’t need to be of any particular fitness level to benefit from it. As we use props such as blocks, bricks and belts it makes the practice accessible and appropriate to people of all ages and abilities. This weekly class is suitable to people who are new to yoga or at beginners level, however more experienced students are very welcome. We practice bare feet. Preferably wear leggings or shorts and not too baggy top, so I can easily see your alignment in the poses. Although some props are offered on premises, please bring your own kit and mat if you have one.
The class is for adults (16+) but youth at the age of 12+ are very welcome too if they accompanied by an adult.
Prices: Drop in – Full price: £6.50. Student, over 60s and in receipt of benefits concession: £5.50.
Book as a 6 week course – Full price: £35. Student, over 60s and in receipt of benefits concession: £30.
Book as a 12 week course – Full price: £70. Student, over 60s and in receipt of benefits concession: £60.
