Edinburgh Summer School with Katie Rutherford

Event Description:

The teachings this weekend will be inspired by Srineet’s recent teachings that yoga is a process – not of “getting” and “doing” – but of purifying and clearing out the blockages within  to uncover the knowledge,  “jnana”, intrinsic to us all.  This change in perspective means the asanas are inherent in each and everyone one of us – we just need to explore and identify the hurdles within.  Over the weekend we will be focusing on sensing and perceiving where these are and learning to undo them.

There is also a pranayama class on Friday evening, 24th July, from 6 – 7.45.   For booking purposes this is being treated as a separate class as we know that some of you will be travelling from outside Edinburgh.  But if you can make it then so much the better!
