“Mock Day 1 Assessment

Event Description:

This event is primarily for trainees and would-be trainees, but anyone is invited who would like to ‘try their hand’ or get a flavour of Day 1 of the current assessments, such as new mentors. There will be no formal assessment – just see how you get on!

Here’s the programme:

12.15 – 12.25 Introduction and Invocation 

12.25 – 13.25 Joint Group Practice

– Practise together on a chosen theme

13.25- 13.35 Break

13.35 – 14.00 Inversions Practice

– design your own practice to include sirsasana and sarvangasana + variations

14.00 – 14.45 Break

14.45 – 15.00 Performance preparation

– programme given out to prepare props etc. 

15.00 – 15.45 Conducted Performance

– ‘Show what you can do!’

Poses read out from L1 syllabus out with timing, but no instructions.

15.45 – 16.15 Group feedback and discussion

Venue is the Upper Hall, Long Ditton Village Hall 2 Ewell Road, Long Ditton, Surrey, KT6 5LE https://www.longdittonvillagehall.co.uk

Nearest TFL station is Surbiton, with a 15-20 minute walk or short K3 bus ride to the hall.

There is a small car park and unrestricted parking in surrounding roads.
