Turkish delight – Yoga by the idyllic Dalyan river

Event Description:

Dalyan Yoga Holiday

Yoga – Sunshine – Natural Beauty

Situated in an idyllic spot on the Dalyan river, we’re staying in a peaceful and spectacular area of natural beauty.

With active morning classes and restorative, breathe based evening ones, its the perfect place to deepen your practice and enjoy some time to yourself.

We’ll be exploring how the 5 elements (earth, water, fire, air, space) exist within the body, in terms of location, what that means and how to access them through our yoga practice. During the evening classes, we’ll be exploring our breathing within the postures, leading to pranayama techniques, that foster quiet and well-being. Optional morning mediation classes will be available most days – a lovely way to start your day.

In between classes you can do as much or as little as you’d like. You can relax on the deck, overlooking the beautiful vista or jump right into the cool, pristine waters…perhaps enjoy an onsite massage or simply enjoy doing nothing.

For those that like to explore, there are ancient ruins to walk to, the ‘town’ center with shops and cafes is 10 minutes away and you can get to the beach by bus from there or take a water taxi, a tranquil journey through reed beds with kingfishers and birds of prey. Non-yoga partners/friends are welcome to come and share with you and enjoy the surroundings.

The area is an UNESCO world heritage site, protected due to its outstanding beauty and natural resources. The beach is pristine as this is where the Loggerhead turtles lay their eggs.

10 x yoga classes
7 x nights accommodation
All meals (vegetarian), except on last night:
= 6 x brunches and a light breakfast on day of departure
