Barbara Pozzoni

Bio:

I started practicing Iyengar yoga in 2003 at John Schumacher's yoga centre in Washington D.C. and right from the first class, I knew I had found something special. Aligning, opening and extending my body had quietened my mind. The glimpses of stillness and peace I experienced hooked me to yoga for life.  I qualified as Iyengar Yoga teacher in 2015 and continue to deepen my knowledge of yoga and develop my teaching skills by studying with senior Iyengar yoga teachers from the UK and abroad. I teach general classes from my home studio in Brighton that are suitable for anyone with no prior experience of yoga as well as more experienced students. I tailor the work in the postures to individual abilities and needs.​​
