Elisa Govea

Bio:

Elisa is originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. She trained with Paul King and Chantal Jauffred for many years, as well with UK teachers like Alan Brown, and Richard Ward. She took a year to live abroad teaching in France and Malaysia until she landed and settled in Spain for a while. After receiving her Level 2 certification in 2019, she began running workshops and mentoring students. Sharing the immense benefits of Iyengar Yoga and the profund knowledge that is its legacy has been her passion and her joy. She was very lucky to study birefly under Geeta Iyengar, an experience that changed her understanding of the practice. In class she focuses on the fundamentals of the Iyengar method while exploring asanas in a fun and challenging way, while keeping a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She recently moved to Ireland with her husband.
