Bio:

I have been teaching Iyengar yoga in Sheffield for almost 40 years. Some of my students have been with me almost that long!  I have taught from Beginners level through to intermediate classes, specialist workshops and therapy classes. I have also trained many teachers to Introductory certificates and beyond, and continue to mentor trainee teachers and those working towards further certification.   It has been my joy to run Sheffield Iyengar Yoga Centre since 2005 and to create there a dedicated and warm community of teachers and students. We have , in pre covid times, also welcomed many International teachers to the Centre. As well as managing our classes now both online and in person we continue to offer regular New Starter courses to those completely new to Yoga.  We are in an ongoing process of aiming to improve the diversity and inclusive nature of our community so offer special days and classes for those with larger and stiffer bodies and offer discounts for those on low incomes.
