Light on Yoga study Course

Class Description:

This initial four week online course will look at the context of the publication of Light on Yoga, the reasons it was written, the ancient texts and the philosophy Iyengar drew upon and how Iyengar sought to bring this philosophy into practice. We will focus on the Introduction to Light On Yoga.

This course will mainly involve lecture but there will be some brief practical application of theory through asana or pranayama where appropriate. There will be an opportunity for pupils to ask questions during each session.

The sessions will be recorded and everyone who enrols for this course will receive a recording of each session at no extra charge. If you are unable to attend one or more of the sessions you will still have a recording so that you can catch up on anything you may have missed.

Please note that if you wish to attend the course you must book for all of it.

Start Date:

January 21st 2026
