Fundraising yoga class for UNICEF UK

Event Description:

I am teaching this yoga class to fundraise for Gaza via UNICEF UK.  I feel Iyengar yoga has given me so much and it is time to give back to the people.  And the people suffering the war consequences are in much need of our help.

This will be a class where we recognise how lucky we are just to be free to practice yoga, to have this freedom.  Let’s look at the poses and see how they offer the challenges and how best we can face them and deal with the obstacles.  An “exercise” we do on the mat.  The people facing the war have extreme challenges on a daily basis.  So we learn also to be grateful to our privileges of having freedom, food and shelter available to us everyday.  A right that each and every human being on Earth should have granted!
