Yoga workshop (restorative) with Claire (Dec 2025)

Event Description:

Join Claire for a workshop with a bit more time to delve into your practice.

This is aimed at existing yoga students who are fairly fit without health issues requiring many modifications. You might be a fairly new student (6 months or so), a regular Iyengar yoga practitioner, trainee or teacher, or a 200hr teacher from another background looking for ongoing learning.

It is useful to be familiar with the Iyengar yoga method and the use of props but not necessary – you are welcome from other yoga system backgrounds. We usually include headstand and shoulderstand in the practice for those learning or deepening their understanding of inversions but alternatives are given if these are not suitable for you at the moment.

For those in the Iyengar system it will be a suite of Level 1 & Level 2 asanas, and maybe the occasional one from Level 3 too.

Theme: a restorative treat for the time of year, with plenty of supported poses, pranayama and meditation. Go home afterwards and sleep soundly!
