Lara Speroni

Bio:

Lara, born in Switzerland, has been living in London since 1998. She was introduced to Iyengar yoga in 2000 and from the first inspiring class at the South London Iyengar Yoga Institute, she never looked back. Today she cannot imagine her life without the practice of yoga. She is the co-director of Iyengar Yoga House - https://www.iyengaryogahouse.com/ In 2007 Lara gained the Iyengar yoga teaching certificate and she now holds the Intermediate Junior 3 level of certification, equivalent to Level 3. From the start she has been training with Jayne Orton in Birmingham, one of the few Advanced Iyengar Yoga teachers in Europe who also has a direct and very strong link with B. K. S. Iyengar and his family based at their Institute of Pune, India. Lara has been to India three times to study at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune. Since 2007 Lara has taught varied groups of people at many locations in London, but also in Switzerland, Croatia and Italy. The experience so far has given her the ability to follow, understand and help a wide range of students. Lara is now co-director of Iyengar Yoga House, a small and welcoming studio near Orpington/Bromley. Lara believes that Iyengar yoga has something to offer to everyone, it helps everyone on their own individual path towards physical and mental wellbeing. It supports and complements every daily living activity.
