Lindsay Barchan

I’ve been practising yoga for over 17 years. I’ve been to India four times to study with Senior Iyengar Yoga teachers and the Iyengar Family in Pune.

After my visit to Pune in 2016, I decided to train as a teacher after witnessing the releasing effects of yoga in the local Indian medical classes. I pursued teacher training and became qualified to teach in 2018 after 2 years of training in London, with senior Iyengar yoga teacher Alaric Newcombe.

I continue my development with Alaric Newcombe and senior Iyengar yoga teachers Sallie Sullivan and Sheila Haswell. I also continue my development with the Iyengar family from RIMYI in Pune, India.

I teach two classes a week open level for both beginners and well practised students, in-person at studios in Lewes, East Sussex. One of these classes is hybrid, where online participation can take place.
